I've been solving technology problems professionally since 2013, starting with GIS and network infrastructure at the City of Highland Village, Texas. Over the years I've expanded into every corner of IT that a small or mid-size business actually needs.

What sets me apart isn't a narrow specialty — it's the breadth. When something breaks or you need to build something new, you usually don't need five different vendors. You need one person who understands the whole picture. That's what I provide.

I work with businesses in the Corinth, Highland Village, Argyle, and greater DFW area on-site, and with clients across the country remotely. No project is too large or too small.

Wireless Mesh Network Deployment for Event POS Connectivity

A large event held in the basement of a hotel needed reliable connectivity to process attendees and run transactions. The venue's connectivity pricing was prohibitive — an affordable, self-contained solution was required fast.

▸Conducted a wireless site survey of the venue basement to assess signal constraints
▸Designed a point-to-point mesh configuration using on-hand equipment
▸Deployed a wireless backhaul and attached hardwired POS terminals over a network switch
▸Validated full transaction processing before event open
The event processed five figures of commerce over 3 days and handled thousands of attendees with pre-purchased tickets — at a fraction of the venue's quoted connectivity cost, saving the owner hundreds to thousands on the back end.

Tens of thousands of dollars saved annually by migrating to Hyper-V — already licensed under Windows Server. Full functionality preserved at a fraction of the previous licensing cost.

Fortinet Fortigate Firewall Migration — End-of-Life Replacement

An organization's Fortinet Fortigate firewall was approaching end of support, exposing the business to unpatched vulnerabilities. A replacement was required with minimal disruption to business operations.

▸Performed a full audit of the existing Fortigate configuration, policies, and compliance requirements
▸Identified and remediated policy gaps and security configuration weaknesses
▸Migrated firewall policies, address objects, and UTM profiles to the replacement unit
▸Coordinated cutover with ISP and validated all traffic flows post-migration
A more performant Fortigate deployed with several years of support runway remaining. Security policies brought to current best practice standards during the migration.
